About IVSHI
IVSHI began as a student-led effort to close mentorship and resource gaps for future healthcare professionals in Imperial Valley. Since then, the initiative has expanded into a collaborative network of students, volunteers, and local partners.
Imperial Valley Student Health Initiative aims to alleviate disparities in healthcare, social determinants of health, and education that affect the citizens of Imperial Valley. We are on a mission to address these issues through our three main pillars: service, public health, and education.
High school students, college students, families, and community members across Imperial Valley who seek health education, career pathways, and public health support.
